David Allen Hogan of Waxahachie passed away at Baylor Medical Center-Waxahachie. He was born in Borger, Texas to Jimmie Patrick Hogan and Theda Jane Spears. David was employed with Guardian Tag and also enjoyed helping the elderly with lawnwork.
He was a member of the Park Meadows Baptist Church.

Mr. Hogan is survived by: his wife, Tina Hogan; son, Robert Allen Hogan both of Waxahachie; father, Jimmie Patrick Hogan of Arlington; mother, Theda Hogan of Waxahachie; honorary grandparents, Clayton and Cecelia Hamm of Red Oak, TX; three brothers, Bob Speck of Waxahachie, Jon Hogan and Taresa of Waxahachie, Scott Hogan and Peggy of Italy; sister-in-law, Vicki Speck of Mesquite; one sister, Tabby and Mike Ashmore of Waxahachie; aunt and uncle Barbara and Steve Green; brother-in-law Boyce Markham of Aurora, CO.; mother-in-love, Glenda Combs of Ennis; sister-in-law, Cara Westbury of Midlothian; father-in-law, Barry Markham of Nederland, TX.; closest friends John and Amy Landon of Laurence, KS.; also numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

The Hogan family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at Park Meadows Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Langley officiating. Pallbearers will be his sister, Tabby Ashmore; his brothers, Jon Hogan, Scott Hogan, Bob Speck; nephew, Mark Ashmore; and brother-in-law, Mike Ashmore. Honorary pallbearers will be John Landon, Barry Markham, Paul Ferguson, Chase Colwell, John Colwell, Nick Moore and Fast Break Basketball Team. Interment will follow in the Sardis Cemetery.

Memorials may be to the American Diabetes Association.
