David Neil Busby

David Neil Busby, 83, from Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on May 21, 2023.

David was born on July 23, 1939 to parents Roy and Vina Lou (Batte) Busby in Waxahachie, Texas.

After David graduated from Texas Christian University, he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1963 as an Aircraft Maintenance Officer, retiring 20 years later as a Lt. Colonel. Followed by a career in financial planning, ultimately retiring to enjoy traveling the open roads of the United States.

David is survived by his sister, Jerry Mitchell, two children, Cid Busby and Michele Strength, foru grandchildren and a great grandchild.
