David Almany

David Almany September 01, 1945 June 03, 2012 David Almany, 66 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, June 03, 2012 in Dallas. He was born to the late Carl Allison and Anne Pruitt Almany on September 01, 1945 in Ashville, North Carolina. David was a longtime member of the Grand Lodge of Texas # 90, was also a member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County and past president of the PIA Professional Insurance Agents. He owned and operated Almany Insurance in Waxahachie since 1994, David was a very happy person, he loved his family and friends, he loved to travel and enjoyed nascar racing. He is survived by his wife Shirley Almany of Waxahachie, Texas; 2 Daughters: Sheri & Ernest Castillo, Jr. of Ennis, Texas, Cathy and Aaron Littles of Waxahachie, Tx., Sister in Law: Gloria Jean Annedlo of Conover, North Carolina; 4 Grandchildren: Nicole Saenz, James Saenz, Corey Littles and Morgan Littles. Nieces and Nephews: Carl Lloyd, Jr., Vickie Dow and Cindy Almany. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother; Carl Lloyd Almany. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 10:00 AM Thursday, June 07, 2012 at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County with Rev. Gary Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 06, 2012 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Douglas Morgan, Shane White, Dillon Castillo, Lykele Tamminga and Steven Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kete Ramsey, Gerald Morgan, Chuck Helton, Harry Tindall and Arthur Price. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
