Dathel Reiber, age 93, a longtime resident of Red Oak passed away Saturday, February 26, 2005 in Ennis. She was born April 28, 1911 in Heber Springs, Arkansas to William and Zellie Clark Badders. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Red Oak. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ernest E. Reiber, granddaughter, Linda Ann Reiber and great grandson, Monte Wood.

Survivors include her sons, William Reiber and wife Cindy of Payne Springs, Ernest W. Reiber of Seven Points and Norman E. Reiber and wife Glenda of Red Oak, 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, J. S. Badders and wife Mary of Austin, J. K. Badders and wife Opal of Oklahoma, sisters, Pat Turney and husband W. T. of Arlington and Nellie Krumnow of Sugarland and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 pm Monday at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, March 1, at Red Oak Cemetery with Rev. Dan Oliver officiating. The family will gather at the funeral home prior to the graveside service on Tuesday.
