Danny Grogan

Daniel "Danny" Ray Grogan, 25 of Waxahachie, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 in Waxahachie. He was born to Ray G. and Rebecca Fisher Grogan on July 01, 1986 in Dallas. Danny loved to run and had a great sense of humor. He enjoyed eating pizza and loved competing in competitive eating contest, which he won most events. Danny was II Class Petite Officer, serving in the United States Navy on the Guide Missile Destroyer USS Russell (DDG 59). Danny loved God and loved his family. He will certainly be missed by so many who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Grogan of San Diego, CA; his father and mother, Ray and Rebecca Grogan of Waxahachie; his sisters, Nikki Keller and her husband, Eric of Waxahachie, Brittany Grogan of Waxahachie; his paternal grandparents, Barney and Edna Grogan of Midlothian; his maternal grandparents, Otis and Carolyn Fisher of Jonesboro, Texas; his niece, Cara-Lynn Keller; his nephews, C. J. Keller, Braylen Grogan; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jessica Ann Grogan. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Midlothian Conference Center, 1 Community Circle, Midlothian. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 12:45 p.m. Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
