Ms. Campbell, a lifelong Ellis County resident, passed away Wednesday morning at IOOF Assisted Living Center in Ennis. She was born in Waxahachie to Leslie E. and Mary Jane (Anthony) Wood. Ms. Campbell was a beautician. She was a member of the Rebekka Lodge, the Waxahachie Business Women's Association and the St. Paul Episcopal Church.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Laverne Campbell of Gilmer, TX., Jimmy Campbell of Waxahachie and Jack Campbell of Gilmer; five great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, three brothers, and one sister.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Friday, December 12, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Father Jerry Hill officiating. Pallbearers will be Larry Wood, Lynn Wood and Jimmy Campbell. Interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
