Dale Louis Mulvany was born in Ottawa, Kansas on September 10, 1933 to Mark and Josephine (Romine) Mulvany, and passed away peacefully in Ennis, Texas on September 22, 2017.
Dale enlisted in the United States Coast Guard on June 20, 1950, where he was stationed in Honolulu, Oahu (Sand Island) until June 19, 1953. He retired from the Dallas Police Department in 1985 after serving 20 years on the force. He was a member of Eastern Star, Masons, Scottish Rite and Hella Shriners. Dale loved being outdoors whether it was hunting, fishing, working in the garden or anything else he could get his hands on. He always had an ear to lend and a good story to tell.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jeanene Finley, brother Bob Mulvany, great-granddaughter Kiley Renae Finley.
Dale lovingly leaves behind his son Steve Mulvany & wife Toni, son Andy Mulvany & wife Carrie, daughter Melissa Mulvany, brothers Bill Mulvany and Gary King, grandchildren Amanda, Eric, Corey, Tim, Danny, Chris, Chelsey, Meagan and Kaitlyn, great-grandchildren Brookelyn, Emma, Kyler and Larissa, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Highway 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX. 75165. He will be laid to rest at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery at 12:30 PM.
