Mr. Henry passed away peacefully Monday evening at the Hyacinth House in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was born in New Vienna, OH. to William Martin and Myrtle Eloise (Hoskins) Henry. Mr. Henry was raised and educated in Jamestown, OH. He served with the US Army 101st Airborne 1941-45. He and Ellie Ruth Green were married July 9, 1942 in Columbus, GA. Mr. Henry farmed the home place, and was a manager of the grain elevator in Bowersville, OH., Greene County. He later was a HUD Housing Inspector for the City of Dayton, OH.

Mr. Henry was a World Class horseshoe pitcher and loved dancing.

His survivors include: two sons, Larry Dale Henry of Arlington, Donald McKay Henry and his wife Teresa of Richmond, VA.; three grandchildren, Scott Henry, Brian Henry and his wife Tara, Cathy Bohl and husband Steve; three great grandchildren, Ryan, Brynne, and Beckett. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Ruth in 2000, and one brother, Donovan.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, Texas. The Celebration of his Life will be 10 AM Friday, April 27, 2007, in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Chaplain Frank Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Italy Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
