Mrs. Haberman passed away Saturday afternoon at the Baylor Medical Center Waxahachie. She was born in Trinidad, British West Indies to William J. and Helen Ann Sorensen (High) Kempf. She was raised in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., graduating from Stranahann High School and the University of Florida. Cindy was an occupational therapist for Baylor University Hospital in Dallas and was also employed with Lankford Hand Associates. She married Jim Haberman in Richardson on September 2, 1978. After their children were born, she became a homemaker. They lived in Arlington from 1980-1998 then moved to Forreston. Cindy was a member of the Appaloosa Horse Club. She was a member of the Waxahachie Bible Church and attended Forreston Baptist Church.

Cindy is survived by: husband, Jim Haberman of Forreston; mother, Helen Ann Sorensen High of Dallas; daughters, Jennifer Jackson and husband Clint, Amy Haberman, Katie Haberman and Maggie Haberman, all of Forreston; brother, Christopher Kempf of Rolla, MO. She was preceded in death by her father, William J. Kempf.

The Celebration of Life will be 2 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at the Forreston Baptist Church with Reverend John Sursa and Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Owen, Wayne Ballard, Larry White, Tracy Middleton, John Maxwell, Leland Calvert, Lynn Harris and Jesse Hays. Interment will follow in the Forreston Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
