Crox Alvarado was known by many simply as Joe, passed away peacefully at the age of 71, on January 2, 2025. in Dallas, Texas. He was born in Littlefield, TX on November 7, 1953. Joe was preceded in death by his parents Modesta Munoz Alvarado & Manuel Alvarado, Sister Solia Rosales, Widowed Wife of just shy of 50 years Carmelita B. Alvarado, two children Norma & Crox Alvarado Jr.
He is survived by his two daughters, Sonia & Victoria Alvarado. Two grandsons, Gregory L. Arradondo Jr. & Victor A. Arradondo, Three granddaughters, Danielle A. Martinez, Margarita R. Alvarado, Mia A. LaCour, Bonus grandchildren, Jayla J. LaCour, Thadus LaCour III. Also, survived by a very special friend and love Jacinta Dalby. He is survived by his siblings, Slyvia Gonzalez, Victor Alvarado and spouse, Ramiro Alvarado and numerous family members.
He was a member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County, and recently rededicated his life to the lord. Some of his many passions in life were his woodwork, yard work, helping others in need. He had a great love for his family. Some of you younger folks may not understand but, he was an all around MacGyver....
