Connie Gorman

Connie Beth Willard Gorman, 77, passed away on August 23, 2016 in Waxahachie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church located at 402 N. College Street in Waxahachie. Graveside services will be on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 2:30 PM at Wortham Cemetery in Wortham, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie.

Connie was born on March 3, 1939 to Dewey and Truey (Thornton) Willard in Wortham, Texas. She married Patrick Allen Gorman on June 26, 1959. She retired from U.T Southwestern Hospital and enjoyed doing genealogy of her family and making stain glass in her free time. Connie loved people and she especially loved the program "Bethlehem Revisited" here in Waxahachie. She would participate in the show and was the "Seamstress" and even made a lot of the costumes. Connie loved a lot of things but she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ along with her family the most, everything was second next to them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents; and three siblings, Bill Willard, Wanda Smith, and Joan Little.

Connie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Patrick Gorman of Waxahachie; sons, Mark Gorman and his wife, Kelly, of Maypearl and Bruce Gorman of Lake Dallas; grandchildren, Geoff Gorman of Ennis, Shelby Gorman and Lilly Gorman, both of Lake Dallas; one great grandson, Grayson Schwartz-Gorman; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Bethlehem Revisited program in Waxahachie to the Central Presbyterian Church, 402 N. College Street, Waxahachie, TX 75165.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
