Clyde Whitson

Clyde Douglass Whitson passed away January 14, 2022, at the age of 99. He was just shy of his 100th birthday on March 30.

Clyde was known by family and friends as Pops.

Clyde Douglass Whitson born to Hazel Mattie & Clifford Benton Whitson March 30, 1922.

Clyde was the third eldest son of nine children and was proceeded in death by his parents, two loving wives, eight siblings and beloved dog Max.

Clyde Douglass Whitson married Loyce Christine Little February 17, 1942 and was married for 35 years until Loyce passed away in December of 1977.

Clyde then married Mary Ann Little in October 1978 and was married for 30 years until Mary Ann passed away in August 2008.

Clyde is survived by four daughters and one son.

Clyde has 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren

Clyde loved is country and proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Clyde was a painter, tape, bed, texture man by trade. Clyde loved the Lord first and foremost. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, gardening, and watching all sports. He loved spending time outside and being with family and friends.
