Mr. Clinton Eben Maxwell, lifelong area resident, passed away Thursday at the Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie. He was born in Ellis County to Lester and Johnnie (Mitchell) Maxwell. He served in the U.S. Army and was self employed as the owner/operator of a gas station for many years. Mr. Maxwell was of the Baptist faith.

His survivors include brother Bobby Maxwell of Waxahachie, four nephews, and numerous nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Maypearl Cemetery with Pastor Tony Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
