Clint Riddle

Clint Alan Riddle of Italy, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2019. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas, to Lanelle Phillips Riddle and Don Riddle on June 6, 1968.

Clint graduated from Italy High School in 1986. After graduation he attended Trinity Valley Community College where he played collegiate football for two years. Clint transferred to Tarleton State University earning a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. He then returned to Italy to eventually take over the family farm.

Clint married Brenda Pierce on October 20, 2006, in Waxahachie, Texas. He was a hard worker and was always devoted to helping his friends. Clint cherished the time he spent with his family and spoiling his adored grandchildren, Addy Lynn and Wade Valek. He loved farming, but more importantly, he loved farming with his family by his side.

Clint is survived by his wife, Brenda Riddle of Italy TX; Mother, Lanelle Riddle of Stephenville TX; Step-mother, Nelda Riddle of Bowie TX; Sons, Gregory Pierce and spouse Rebecca of Russellville AR. and Nolan Griffith of Weatherford TX; Daughters, Ashlie Vasquez and husband Frankie of Russellville AR., Abby Valek and husband Daniel of Avalon TX; Grandchildren, Addy Lynn and Wade Valek of Avalon TX; Brother, Curtis Riddle and wife Michele of Italy TX; Sister, Carrie Normand and husband Jonathan of Stephenville TX; Nephews, Clay Alan Riddle, Cole Damron, and Jonah and Jett Normand; Nieces, Courtney Riddle and Carson Damron; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Clint was preceded in death by his Father, Don Riddle; Grandparents, Annie and Ed Plumoff, Raymond Riddle, Robert and Ethel Phillips.

Friends and family are encouraged to gather for a time of visitation on Friday, October 18, 2019 from six to eight o’clock in the evening at the Central Baptist Church in Italy, TX. Services celebrating Clint’s life will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at the Central Baptist Church in Italy, TX. Interment at Italy Cemetery following the service.
