She was born August 27, 1917 in Shongaloo, Louisiana to Hiram A. & Nelia Munn Bradford. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana. She married Oscar Branch Jackson in June of 1940 and he preceded her in death December 27, 1971. She is survived by her 3 sons: Andrew Holland Jackson of Waxahachie; Brad Jackson of Oklahoma City, OK and O.B. Jackson of Austin, Texas. 1 Daughter: Linda J. Welty of Westwood Hills, Kansas. 1 Sister: Dannie Ray Waters of Minden, Louisiana; 12 Grandchildren: 10 Great Grandchildren: Niece: Martha Willburn of Maypearl, Tx. 6 Nephews: Scott Jackson, Calvin Jackson, John Jackson, Donald Waters, John Waters, Charles Waters and 3 Nieces: Victoria Bannister, Marjorie Heldt and Susan Hensley. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 9:30 AM Saturday October 02, 2010 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Ozro Cemetery in Maypearl, Texas. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, October 01, 2010 . Pallbearers will be her grandsons: Trey Jackson, John David Welty, Brian Jackson Welty, and friends: Ricky Wilburn, Billy Haynes and Clifford Frazier. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charles Waters, John Waters, Donald Waters, Bobby Westbrook, Jackie Pruitt, Leroy Parker, Calvin Johnson, Scott Jackson and John Jackson.
