Claudia Hoppe

Claudia Elizabeth Beth Hoppe, 60, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Cedar Creek Lake. She was born December 29, 1955 in Savannah, Georgia.

Beth raised her children in Waxahachie and worked in the banking industry for Citizens National Bank of Texas for 35 years, before her retirement in 2016. She loved to travel and loved living at the lake on Cedar Creek where her and Wayne built their dream house. She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Claudia Luckey and Grandson Kellin Skelton.

Beth is survived by husband Wayne Hoppe of Cedar Creek Lake, Children Ryan Smith of Waxahachie, Clint and Ashley Skelton of Midlothian, and John Skelton of Waxahachie; her sisters, Nancy Luckey and Husband Mark Streeter of Savannah, Georgia, Barbara Stanley and Husband Don Stanley of Savannah, Georgia; and six grandchildren, Peyton Smith, Mason Smith, Vada Skelton, Jax Skelton, Parks Skelton and Davis Skelton; she is also survived by several step-children and grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2017 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
