Christopher Daniel Webber passed away Wednesday, April 1st, 2015 at his home in Irving, TX. Chris was born September 1st, 1977 in Wichita Kansas, the son of Terry Webber and Sharon Fincher Webber. Chris graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1995. Chris was an avid sports fan his entire life. All who knew him were impressed by his encyclopedic knowledge of sports trivia. He played baseball, football, basketball and soccer in Grand Prairie schools and city leagues. He enthusiastically followed all Dallas professional sports teams and was a huge Texas A&M fan. As an adult, Chris worked at the Half Moon Grill and Saloon in Tyler, TX. and then the Gas Monkey Bar and Grill in Dallas. He loved his work. It afforded him the opportunity to interact with many people and he never met a stranger. His perpetual smiles, his deep booming voice, reassuring hugs, his calm reason and his genuine concern for those around him created bonds of love and friendship that are evidenced by the extraordinary outpouring of love and support from his many friends and loved ones. Chris is survived by his mother, Sharon Fincher Webber of Saint Petersburg, FL, his father Terry Webber of Oak Leaf, TX. his sister Cindy Webber and niece Ashlynn Chovanetz of Ovilla, TX, his grandfather Bill Webber of Lindale, TX., and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chris was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Loretta Beach and Barbara Webber. Visitation will be held Monday, April 6th 2015 from 5pm to 7pm with a celebration of Chris's life scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th 2015 at the Chapel of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home at 2pm, with interment to follow.
