Christopher "Chris" Douglas Jackson, age 36
April 26, 1970
November 16, 2006
Our beloved son, father, brother, brother-in-law, nephew, and great friend to many, Christopher Douglas Jackson was born in Portland, Oregon, but resided most of his life in the DeSoto/Red Oak area where he lost his life to unknown sudden causes. Born April 26, 1970 and passed peacefully at home November 16, 2006. His father, James Leroy Jackson, of San Marcos, TX., preceded Chris in death. Survived in life by Mother, Marnie Jackson of Red Oak; daughter, Ashlie Jackson of Grand Prairie; sister, Heather Jackson of Red Oak; brother-in-law, Andre Duplessis-Jackson of Red Oak, ex-wife and mother of their beautiful child Kelly Wierman, of Grand Prairie; Aunt Sonja Howard of Glenn Heights and her three boys which all grew up as brothers. He had numerous friends and family throughout the area: Red Oak, DeSoto, Arlington, Waco, Gatesville, and extended family in Michigan. Chris was an avid lover of music and the outdoors. He was a 1988 graduate of DeSoto High School and was certified in the completion of Commercial Music - Recording Technology in 2001. Chris was a gourmet cook, extraordinary artist, a talented musician, and most of all a wonderful, very proud daddy that loved "jamming" to music. He greatly enjoyed fishing, camping, and all outdoor activities on water and land. He devoted his life to all his family and friends and still had many ambitions to complete in his too brief time here on Earth. He inspired love and care and will be greatly and sadly missed by all who knew him. His 36 years of life here, though too brief, we know he is at eternal peace now. His life will be a legacy, and he will be greatly missed! The Boze Family Red Oak Funeral Home, 120 N. Hwy. 342, Red Oak, TX. 75154, is providing services. Visitation is Monday, November 20, 2006 from 6-8 PM. A memorial and celebration of his life will be Tuesday, November 21 at 11 AM.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Red Oak Funeral Home.
