Christopher Andrew Hill, 14 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 in Waxahachie. He was born on October 1, 1998 in Springerville, Arizona. Chris was an extraordinary young man in so many ways. From his fierce defense of family and those he felt were being mistreated to his "Compassion's Child" he corresponded with, his heart was full of love for the people in his life. Chris attended school at Advantage Academy this year after attending Palmer schools for the previous seven. Chris loved fly fishing, kayaking, hunting, biking and camping. Chris' sense of humor was boundless. Chris had many hopes and dreams for his future; rattlesnake wrangler, living off the land in Alaska, owning his own restaurant where he would serve the game he raised. Chris' family would like to express our deepest appreciation for all of those in his life who gave their time to help him with kind words or deeds. To those whose words and deeds were less than kind, know that Chris would be the first to forgive you. His Father in Heaven forgives you and his family prays that each and every one of us would remember "a gently answer turns away wrath" Proverbs 15:1 "a kind word makes his heart glad" 1 Corinthians 4:13 Chris is survived by his mother and father, Oma and Murray O'Neal of Waxahachie; his natural parents, Abraham Hill of Shephard, MT and Melinda Lopez of Waxahachie; his sister, Nicole O'Neal of Waxahachie; his brothers, Garrett O'Neal, Matthew O'Neal, Keaton O'Neal and Cody O'Neal, all of Waxahachie; his sisters, Teresa Lopez of Mexico and Rosa Lopez of Mexico; his grandmother, Evelyn Sanders of Ennis; great grandmothers, Joan Hill of Forsythe, MT and Sandy O'Neal of Lubbock; his great grandparents, Tommy and Linda Sanders of Henderson, NV; by his uncle, Terry Spencer of Billings, MT; and also by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kevin Hill; and also by his great grandfather, Carman Hill. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 27, 2012 at the Waxahachie Bible Church with Rev. Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2012 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
