Christine Pope

Christine Pope, age 99 passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021 in Waxahachie, Texas.
Christine was born on September 26, 1921 in Sparta, Tennessee to William Brown & Lenora Bell Passons.
She was married to R. A. Pope until his death in 1996.
She worked for A & P grocery in Dallas, Texas for many years until moving to Waxahachie, Texas where she worked for Town & Country beauty shop until her retirement.
She was very active in many clubs, her favorite being the Heirloom Club. She also enjoyed lots of activities at the Waxahachie Senior Community where she resided & had many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband R. A. Pope, son Dickie Pope, son Larry Pope, & grandson Michael Pope.
She is survived by her daughter Peggy Rosser (Bill), daughter in law Linda Pope, grandchildren Tammy Pope, Allen Pope (Eva), Ken Rosser (Cathy), Chris Rosser, Ricky Pope (Keesha),
10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted by Wayne Boze Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Waxahachie City Cemetery at 2:00pm.  Officiating will be chaplain Jerry Bloomfield.
