Christine Medlock

Christine Medlock, 79, passed away suddenly on Thursday, April 16, 2015, at her residence in Waxahachie. She was the daughter of the late Sidney Delma and Lula Mae Eudy of Paris, TX. Christine was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. She deeply loved her church and church family. Christine was a devoted and loving wife, and mother to her family. Family gatherings, especially during the holidays, always brought such joy to Christine. She loved to cook, play board games, spend time working in her garden and just enjoying life. She was also an avid reader. Christine was a people person. She always had a kind word and a smile for all who crossed her path. During her lifetime, she took on jobs serving people and put her heart and soul into everything she did. Christine was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Douglas Wayne Medlock, Sr, and her 2 sons Hoyt Sidney Medlock; and Douglas Wayne Medlock, Jr. She is survived by her loving son, Jon "Buzz" Medlock and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Medlock of Waxahachie. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Christine will be missed and continually loved by SO MANY who will never forget her. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W Highway 287 Business, Waxahachie on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 6PM to 8PM. A Celebration of Christine's life will be held in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel at Wayne Boze Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 10AM. Officiating the service will be Rev.
