Chris Taylor

Chris Taylor, 71, passed away on July 27, 2016 in Waxahachie. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 2 PM at Farley Street Baptist Church located at 1116 Brown Street in Waxahachie.

Chris was born on September 1, 1944 to Albert Newton and Ruby Nell (Norrell) Skiles. She married Tom Taylor on July 7, 1960 and was a member of the Phi Theta Kapa Society at Cedar Valley College. Chris was also a member of the Farley Street Friendship Sunday School Class.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Tom Taylor of Waxahachie; daughters, Donna Taylor of Little Elm, and Sherry Elkins and her husband, Mark, of Celina; son, Terry Taylor and his wife, Liz, of Mississippi; five grandchildren, Kristen, Megan, Hayden, Owen and Josh; and two great grandchildren, Aubree and Luke.

In lieu of flowers, Chris requests that you spend quality time with someone you love.
"If I could sit across the porch from God, I'd thank him for lending me you."
