Chase passed away Tuesday evening at Children's in Dallas as the result of an accident.
He was born in Waxahachie to James J. and Cheryl Rene (Heathcote) Morrison II. Chase was a second grader at Maypearl Elementary School. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maypearl where he was a member of the Royal Ambassadors. Chase was a true gift from God and brought joy to many lives. He will live on through others with his generous donation of life giving organs.

He is survived by: his parents, Jim and Cheryl Morrison of Maypearl; paternal grandmother, Julia Morrison of Waxahachie; maternal grandparents, Don and Nadine Heathcote of Streetman, TX.; maternal great grandmother, Bonnie Doss of Des Moines, IA.; brother, Jimmy Morrison of Maypearl; uncle and aunt, Mark and Kellie Heathcote of Dallas; and cousins, Joshua and Nathan Heathcote of Dallas. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, James J. Morrison in 1988.

The family will receive friends and relatives 7-9 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 1 PM Saturday, December 4, 2004 at First Baptist Church, Maypearl, with Pastor Tony Sheffield officiating. Pallbearers will be Mark Heathcote, Hal Stanford, Rodney Mathers and Kelly Brown. Interment will follow in Auburn Cemetery.
