Charlie Lowe, 87, of Waxahachie, passed away March 17, 2007, in Quitman, Texas. He was born June 5, 1919, in Ellis County, Texas, and lived most of his life in Waxahachie.
Mr. Lowe worked for General Dynamics in Fort Worth, Texas, and attended First Assembly of God Church in Waxahachie.
He is survived by two sons, Dwayne Lowe and wife Lucy of Quitman and Dick Lowe and wife Sue of Wetumpka, Ala.; three brothers, William H. Lowe of Mesquite, Texas, James Alton Lowe Jr. of Ennis, Texas, and Eugene Lowe of Wilmer, Texas; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Lowe.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Red Oak Funeral Home, with Rev. Rennie Baker officiating. Interment will be at Red Oak Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Rick Lowe, Brian Lowe, Matt Lowe, Bruce Lowe, Billy R. Graham and T.C. Wilson.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 19.
Arrangements are under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home.
