Charlie Joslin

Charlie R. Joslin passed away to his Lord early Friday morning. He was born October 27, 1935 in Gilmer, Upshur county where he provided for his family at a young age after losing his father. His early career was launched at Boeing and he went on to become an industrial engineer and inventor. He was proud to serve in the Air National Guard several years. Learning was a joy to him and he was always available to help anyone who had even the smallest need. His humor was both intelligent and legendary, enjoyed by many around him. Survivors include his wife Rosa Joslin of Waxahachie , Texas 1 Son and daughter in law: Dr. Eddie & Shirley Joslin of Waxahachie; 1 Daughter: Rita Joslin of Mesquite, Texas; 1 Granddaughter: Emily Joslin of Waxahachie, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends and other family. He was preceded in death by his parents: Elmer & Ida Maples Joslin; 2 sisters and 2 brothers: Ruby, Bonnie, Albert and Joe. Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:30 PM Sunday, April 07, 2013 at the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Langley and Rev. Jim Hall officiating. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery . Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, April 06, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
