Charles Louis Wisdom, 64, died May 19, 2011 at his home in Red Oak, Texas . Known to his family and friends as Chuck, was born May 7, 1947 in McAllen , Texas to Margaret Sue and Rufus Lee Wisdom Jr. the 5th of 14 children. Chuck served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After two tours in Vietnam and then Germany , he was honourably discharged. He moved to Boston , Massachusetts in 1970 where he met his beautiful wife Deborah May Davis; quickly falling in love and marrying they returned to Texas . It is here they raised two beautiful daughters, Charlene Sue and Jessica Irene. Chuck worked for many years as a roofing contractor in his own company. Wisdom Brothers Construction was family built and owned by Mr. Wisdom and his younger brothers. Chuck's hobbies were fishing, hunting, barbeques, and being with family. Dear to his heart was the laughter of his daughters and grandchildren... He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by those whose lives he's touched. He is survived by Deborah, his wife of 41 years; Daughters, Charlene Sue and Jessica Irene; Grandchildren, Taylor Lee Wisdom Whittington and Maddison Kristine Wisdom Whittington; His 7 brothers - Sonny, Walter, Jerry, Ronny, Joe, Jeff and James (Jimbo); 6 sisters - Anna Belle (Tootsie) Geery, Betty Taylor, Susie Harrison, Linda Maynard, Mary Taylor and Jeannie Blanton, last but not least many nephews, nieces and dear friends - All of which will miss him dearly. At his request, a memorial service will be held at Waxahachie Lake with a gathering of family and friends to be held at the Lions Club located in Red Oak to follow.
