Charles Lynn

Charles Vincent Lynn, 73, a long time resident of Forreston, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie, Texas. He was born December 15, 1938 to the late Hulbert V. Lynn and Margaret Derden-Lynn. Charles graduated from Forreston High School where he played center, #23 which he wore proudly until his death. He married Linda McCain of Waxahachie in 1957 and out of the reunion was born Charles W. Lynn, Sherry Odom (Larry), James V. Lynn (Jackie). He is also survived by his brother, Don and his wife, Shiela Lynn of Dallas. He has 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; and one niece, Carissa Lynn; and a host of cousins. Charles was employed as an over the road trucker (10-4) for a number of years and went on to operate his used truck business, I-By-TRKS. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Lynn; by his father, Hulbert V. Lynn; and also by a host of uncles and aunts. Memorial services to celebrate Charles life are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Forreston with Wayne Norcross officiating. Services will be conducted under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home
