Mr. Humphries passed away at his Waxahachie residence Tuesday. He was born in Rockett, TX. to George Fell and Bonnie (Humphries) Humphries. He married Mary Elizabeth Jacobs October 19, 1944 in Burleson, TX.. Mr. Humphries joined the US Marines in 1942 and served in Guam and the Philippine Islands. He retired after working thirty-five years with General Dynamics. He was a member of the Rockett Christian Church, Rockett, TX.

Mr. Humphries is survived by: his wife, Mary Elizabeth Humphries of Waxahachie; daughters, Nancy Forbes of Waxahachie, Bonnie Stewart and husband Ronnie of Holland, TX., Susie Humphries of Joshua, TX. and Holly Humphries and Gene of Collinsville, TX.; sister, Joyce Broadhurst of Grapevine; grandchildren, Karen Lockridge and husband Mark of Waxahachie, Ron Stewart and wife Kristen of Temple, Jake Stewart and wife Stephanie of Holland and Phil Stewart of CA., Wayne Good and wife Debi of Joshua, Jeff Good and wife Tammy of Euless, Josh Hamm, Randy Hamm and Amanda Hamm; great grandchildren, Billy and Ben Lockridge of Waxahachie, Trey, Haley and Chelsey Good of Joshua, Austin and Jacob Arriola also of Joshua, Skylar and Summer Stewart of Temple, and Jaycee Stewart of Holland; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mary Lynn Klose; granddaughter, Pam Klose; sisters, May, Lissie and Vera; and brothers Lambert and Edwin.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Thursday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be 4 PM Friday, January 7, 2005 at Bells Chapel Cemetery, Rockett, TX. with interment to follow. Grandsons and great grandsons will
serve as pallbearers.
