Mrs. King passed away Saturday evening at Renfro Health and Rehab. She was born in Waxahachie to Elmer and Maypearl (McCoy) Craighead.



She is survived by: brother and sister-in-law, Monroe and Mary Craighead of Mesquite; children, Doris and Sammie Chapman of Josephine, Tommy Ray and Becky King , Sr.. of Waxahachie, Allison King of Josephine, Barbara Annette King of Gainesville, Mary Ann Lenahan of Irving, Patricia and Bill Lebron of Orland, FL., Sandra Stevenson of Josephine, Linda Ngiratumrang of Red Oak, Wanda Barker of Mesquite; twenty six grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Maypearl Craighead, husbands, T.W. (Dub) King and J. C. Stevenson; brothers, Weldon and Richard Craighead; sisters, Estelle Miller, Sarah Ann Cowan and Barbara Janyce Vaughan; sons, Orville King and Jimmy Stevenson; daughter, Barbara Faye King; granddaughter, Stacia Osborn; great granddaughter, Mary Marie Gann Harris.



The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Monday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 2 PM Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Brother Howard Bright officiating. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Osborn, Stephen Osborn, Jr. Tommy King, Jr., Jack Gann, Jr., Alfredo Lebron and Michael King. Interment will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery.
