Mrs. Hoefer passed away Saturday morning at her residence in Ennis. Cathryn was born in Ennis to Martin and Julia (Jamroz) Rogala. She graduated from Ennis High School in 1947 and married F.E. Hoefer Jr. September 27, 1953 in Ennis. She enjoyed being a mother and homemaker. During the 1980's after the girls graduated she became a medical records clerk of the Medical Arts Clinic in Ennis where she remained until her death. Cathryn was a private person, loving wife, mother, grandmother, devout Catholic and a member of the St. John's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years F.E. Hoefer Jr., 2 daughters, Margaret Hoefer of Ennis, Barbara Ann Hoefer Cozart and her husband Edward of Canton, 2 grandchildren, Jessica Kathleen and Julia Cathryn Cozart, 1 brother Martin F. Rogala and his wife Betty of Ennis, 1 sister Dorothy Rogala Fox of Dallas. Also surviving are Nieces and nephews; Julie Fox, Emmitt Fox and his wife Lisa their children Madison and Chandler, Martin Fox, Kathleen Hapeman and her husband David, Patrick Fox, Christi Miller and her husband Bernard and their son Jess. Her parents preceded her in death.

The Rosary will be 7 pm Monday evening at the St. John's Catholic Church. The Mass for Christian Burial will be 10 am Tuesday July 22, 2003 at St. John's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Emmitt Fox, Martin Fox, Bernard Miller, Bill Hejney, David Smith, Ronnie Zmoleck.

Memorials may be made to the St. John's Catholic Church or the St. John's Catholic School.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
