Cathey Smart

Cathey Eileen Smart 71 of Red Oak, Texas passed away Saturday April 1, 2017 at her home in Red Oak, Texas. Cathey was born on November 13, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to the late John L. and Vona Phillips Smart. Cathey will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her and loved her.

Cathey was preceded in death by her Parents.

Cathey Smart is survived her son Michael Parker and his wife Anna of Red Oak, Texas; two daughters, Katie Bishop and her husband Bryan of Red Oak, Texas, Lisa A. Palla and her husband Steven of Trophy Club, Texas, Two brothers Johnny Smart and his wife Suzanne of Nevada, Texas, Stan Smart and his wife Teri of Garland, Texas, her sister Cynthia Strickland and her husband Greg of Buffalo, Texas. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Graveside services to celebrate her life is scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Prairie Grove Baptist Church and Prairie Grove Cemetery in Mexia, Texas. The address for the church and cemetery is 2678 FM 1953 Meaia, Texas 76667.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas.
