Catherine Ballard Seabolt of Waxahachie, Texas passed away February 10, 2008 at home surrounded by family and friends. Born to Ora Lee and Ken Ballard on October 2, 1924 in the Bee Creek Community, Texas she later lived in Forreston, Texas until her marriage to J. H. Seabolt, Jr., on May 21, 1944 and lived in the Howard Community and later moving to Waxahachie where she resided until her death. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother and great-grand-mother. Catherine worked for LTV and later Haggar Slacks of Waxahachie where she worked until her retirement.

Catherine is survived by her husband of 63 years J.H. Seabolt, Jr.; her two sons, J.H. (Jim) Seabolt, III and wife Debbie of Waco, Texas, Glenn Seabolt and wife Ann of Waxahachie, TX.; two brothers, Carl Ballard and Bill Ballard of Forreston, TX.; three sisters, Johnnie Williams of Broadus, MT., Faye Ferguson of Ft. Worth, TX., and Ann Eggleston of Forreston, TX.; three grandsons, Jody Seabolt of Harlingen, TX., Kenneth Seabolt of Irving, TX. and John Seabolt of Waxahachie, TX.; three great grandchildren, Jocelyn Seabolt, Hank Seabolt and Morgan Seabolt; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Tuesday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of her Life will be 10 AM Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with interment following at Hillcrest Burial Park.
