Carter Brent Rowe resident of Waxahachie, Texas, 49, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 peacefully with his family at his side after a long struggle with several health problems. Carter was born May 27, 1966 in St. Charles, Missouri to Randy and Sue Rowe. He loved nature, traveling to the mountains, and camping. He was blessed with a special artistic painting talent. In their childhood Carter and his two brothers enjoyed a close relationship with their grandparents, Alva and Lela Dockins, until their death. Another special person in his life was his uncle, Gerald Dockins.
Carter moved with his parents to Texas in 1985 and completed his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Texas at Arlington. His education and hobby as an artist led him to pursue a career as a technical illustrator. He was employed by Intellectual Property Illustrations of Flower Mound, Texas.
Survivors include his parents, Randy and Sue Rowe, Waxahachie, brothers, Brad Rowe and wife Karen, Grand Prairie, Texas, Dave Rowe and wife Patty, Mableton, Georgia, and uncle, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. There are many precious memories for his loved ones to reflect upon as he will be missed greatly. Carter was a thoughtful person with deep feelings for his personal faith in his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He kindly recalls having been raised with focus on Christian values and church attendance.
Visitation for family and friends will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Waxahachie, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 6 - 8pm. Services to celebrate Carter's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Rodney Holliday. Interment will follow at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
