Carolyn Green

Carolyn Joyce Green, 62 of Waxahachie, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013 in Dallas. She was born to the late Olin O. & Hazel Brannon Thomas on February 16, 1951 in Waxahachie, Texas. Carolyn was a longtime member of Farley Street Baptist Church, member of the church choir and was active in the children's ministry and the Awanas. Carolyn was a graduate of Waxahachie High School Class of 1969. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her and loved her. She is survived by her husband Mike Green, Son: Chris & wife Michele Green; Son: Jason Green and 2 grandsons: Austin & Kaleb Green. She was preceded in death by her parents: Olin and Hazel Thomas, Brother David Thomas and a dear family friend Wilson Ellis. Services to celebrate her life are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Farley Street Baptist Church in Waxahachie with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
