Carolina Carman Garcia, 61 of Red Oak, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 in a Dallas hospital. She was born on September 28, 1946 in Carlsbad, New Mexico.
Mrs. Garcia was very religious and loved attending St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed music and playing her key board. She also enjoyed playing yahtzee, bible trivia, and playing slot machines at the casinos. She loved watching Laura on TV and spending time with her family. She will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Ricardo Garcia of Red Oak; her sons, Joseph Garcia of Red Oak, Ricardo P. Garcia, Jr., of Louisiana, Eric Garcia of Dallas; Adam Garcia of Colorado; her daughters, Teresa McCullough of Red Oak, Erika Shien of Red Oak, and Rebecca Garcia of Nevada; her sister, Lupe Pen'a of New Mexico; and 13 grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie with Father Michael Guadagnoli serving as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Red Oak Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 with a Rosary prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Red Oak Funeral Home.
