Carmen Chavez O'Daniel

Carmen Chavez O'Daniel 79 went to be with the Lord on 4/27/2024, in Italy Texas at the Renaissance Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
Carmen attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a licensed hair stylist and received her certification in Medical Transcription. She worked in the insurance industry. She assisted her husband Robert in the business of Maverick Electric Supply when he was part owner.
Carmen met the love of her life, Robert, in Yuma, Arizona. They were married on September 7, 1963, they shared 59 years of this union. Carmen was a loving Mother and devoted wife and sweet "Nana" and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert O'Daniel, her parents Manuel and Anita Bedoya Chavez and brothers John and Alfred Chavez and infant twin brothers. She is survived by two brothers Bobby and Don Chavez.
Those to cherish her memory include her three children Matthew O'Daniel (Jo Ann), Michelle O'Daniel Trojacek (Henry), and Michael O'Daniel (Lori). She is also survived by her grandchildren Alex O'Daniel, Chris Ieppert, Jennifer Urbano, Alli Skeen, Seth Trojacek, Sean and Quin O'Daniel. She is also survived by her great-grand children Liam and Ethan Skeen, Rachel and Allison Ieppert, and Ava and Blake Urbano.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff from Bristol Hospice for the tender care of Carmen.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 2, 2024 from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral will be on Friday, May 3rd at 10 a.m. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home and the burial will be at Sardis Cemetery.
