Carl Wishart, 49 of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 21, 1967 in Waterville, Maine.
Carl was someone who continually brought people to God, someone who loved unconditionally and accepted everyone as they were. Someone who was always there to lend a helping hand no matter how he felt. Someone who made you feel welcome no matter the place, the struggle you were going through, just no matter what. Carl was someone who you could count on to put a smile on your face. Most importantly though, someone who loved his wife, Jeannie Wishart and his kids, Corey Wishart, Katrina Wishart and Curtis Wishart more that life itself….. and just as Corey said yesterday, the only answer we can find comfort in is, Carl's job here on Earth is done.
Carl went to Messalonski High School in Oakland Maine. He was an independent contractor and all around handy man. Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing, horses and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was a respected Outreach Ministry Leader and member of the Cowboy Church of Ellis County for the Buckaroo U Ministries, among many others. Carl enjoyed all children.
We ask for continued prayers for the entire Wishart family and the numerous friends and other family as we continue through this life without him. Prayers for peace and comfort for the days, weeks, months and years ahead.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Wishart; his sons, Curtis Wishart and Corey Wishart; his daughter, Katrina Wishart; 3 grandchildren, Chloe Wishart, Corey Wishart, II and Laker Wishart; he is also survived by his sister, Ann Wishart; by his brother, Otto Wishart; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Brown; his uncle, Crosby Brown; his aunt and uncle, Inez and Ernest D. Brown.
A memorial service to celebrate his life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Cowboy Church of Ellis County with Bro. Chris Maddox officiating. Arrangements and services will be conducted under the care and direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home Directors.
