Carl Harbert

Carl Junior “Paw Paw” Harbert, 88, passed away in Waxahachie with his loved-ones by his side. “Paw Paw” was born in Arkansas on April 25, 1930, to William Harbert and Mary Ragsdale.

Carl Harbert married Joyce E. Russell on November 11, 1950 in Clarksville Arkansas. They were married 67 years and had two daughters.

Carl is preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Harbert, sister Hattie Mae Harris, and loving wife Joyce Harbert. He is survived by his daughters Carla Byrum and Linda Scheurmann; Grandchildren April Frailey, Kelly Jahnke, Cara Byrum, and Matthew Scheurmann; Great grandchildren Lexy Roe, Tylor Frailey, Sierra Frailey, Garrett Jahnke, and Oliver Scheurmann.

A family visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 11th from 6pm-8pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Hwy 287 Business, Waxahachie, TX. The funeral service will also be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, Saturday, January 12th at 10am, interment will follow at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
