Mr. Medlin passed away Friday evening at his residence in Italy. He was born on December 14, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Young Keys and Louise A. Anderson Medlin. Attended school in Dallas and received his Associates Degree at Sam Houston State College in Huntsville Texas. Byron was a self employed painter. He enjoyed leatherwork and motorcycles. He attended Family Worship Center in Sardis.

He is survived by a brother Mike and his wife Thersa of Italy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews Michelle and David Hodges of Mesquite, Melissa and Michael Medlin of Italy, Misty and Jason Escamilla of Forreston, Dwayne Sims of Alabama, Byron Cole Medlin and Brad Allen Hamilton of Quinlan, and three great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother and a sister.

The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday evening from 6- 8 P.M. in the Wayne Boze Italy Chapel. The grave site Celebration of Life will be at 10 A.M Monday, October 13, 2003 at the Italy Cemetery with Rev. James Mc Gaha officiating.

In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be made in Byron's memory at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home or Italy Chapel.
