Burl Blevins

Burl Dean Blevins June 26, 1960 June 28, 2013 Burl Blevins, age 53, a resident of Waxahachie passed away on June 28, 2013. Burl was born on June 26, 1960 in Dallas to Burley Lee and Wanda Williams Blevins. Burl was an avid outdoorsman and loved to fish. Most of his life was spent repairing cars. Burl was a loving and caring father, son, brother and a friend to many. He was preceded in death by his father, Burley and a brother, Hugh "Bert" Blevins. He is survived by a son, Austin Blevins of Waxahachie; mother, Wanda Rippey of Waxahachie; five sisters, Connie Webb and husband Milton of Red Oak, Mary Hamilton and husband Don of Kaufman, Michael Rollins and husband David of Milford, Donna Elrod of Waxahachie and Darlene McBride and husband Darell of Italy; two brothers, Carl Blevins of Waxahachie and Earl Blevins of Waxahachie. And many other extended family and friends. In Lieu of flowers donations made in Burl's name may be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 2:00 PM at the Waxahachie Bible Church.
