Our beloved daughter, sister, grand-daughter, niece and friend went with the angels to heaven today.

Britny Stripland passed away November 30, 2008, as a result of a car accident. This beautiful girl was born in Dallas, Texas on September 19, 1989.

Britny grew up surrounded by her loving family in Red Oak, TX and attended Red Oak High School and Kennedale High School. She made friends everywhere she went. Britny was an extremely talented artist and writer. She loved animals, especially horses and loved to read, write, draw, ride horses, listen to music and spend time with her sister and her friends. Britny was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Waxahachie, Texas.

Britny is survived by her parents, William and Elizabeth Stripland, her sister, Courtney Stripland, her grandparents, Ronnie & Linda Stripland and Jimmy & Dora Fugitt, her aunts and uncles, Craig & Margret Janda, James & Shelley Fugitt, Susanne Seamanski & Brian Sliger, her very special friend Derrick Flemming and many, many cousins, friends and extended family.

Visitation will be 12/3 from 6-8pm at the Red Oak Funeral Home, 120 North Highway 342, Red Oak, TX 75154. The Rosary will be said at 7 PM also at the funeral home. Funeral will be at 10 AM on 12/4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 512 E Marvin Avenue, Waxahachie, TX 75165. In lieu of flowers, please send donations, in memory of Britny to the Ellis County SPCA.

Britny's beautiful smile, her beautiful heart and all her love will truly be missed. We love you and will miss you dearly baby!
