Brian Koennecke

Brian Patrick Koennecke, "known as Hollywood to his friends", our precious son, passed away at the age of 20 on March 27, 2017. He was born in Waxahachie, Texas on July 28, 1996 to Patrick and Jan Koennecke.

He attended school in Waxahachie and graduated on June 6, 2014. He was currently attending Cedar Valley College pursuing a music degree. Brian worked part time at Cardinal CG in the summers. He loved music, playing guitar and drums and hanging out with his friends.

Brian is survived by his parents, Patrick and Jan Koennecke; his grandmother, Mollie Edrington; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great cousins and lots of friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred Edrington, Volker and Mary Koennecke and also by his uncle, Rick Edrington.

A memorial service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 31, 2017 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
