Brian Brignon

Brian T. Brignon, 63, passed away on September 19, 2012 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas , TX . Brian was born on November, 10, 1948 in Dallas , TX to Frederick Merle and Theresa Baker Brignon.Brian grew up Ferris , TX . Brian graduated from Ferris High School in Ferris , TX in 1967. After high school Brian joined the Army on January 15, 1969 and served for 3 years in the Vietnam War. Brian was honorably discharged in 1971 achieving the rank of SP5. Brian worked for Xerox ASC as a Computer Analyst for 30 years.Brian married Carolyn Ann McBride in Glen Rose, TX. They were happily married for 44 years.Brian was preceded in death by his parents Frederick Merle & Theresa Baker Brignon Brian is survived by his spouse Carolyn Brignon of Red Oak, Texas; his son Gary T. Brignon & daughter in-law Kelly Brignon of Ennis, TX; his daughter Meme Brignon and partner Barry Sharp of Waxahachie, TX; his grandchildren Tyler Brignon, Zoe Brignon, Paige Brignon, Tanner Gattin, Bryan Gattin, Thomas Cecil Gattin, and Haylee Flanagan. Brian also had nieces and nephews and many other relatives. A visitation service will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy. 287 Business, Waxahachie , Texas 75165 from 6 -8pm, Monday September 24. A memorial service will be held at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 W. Hwy. 287 Business, Waxahachie , Texas 75165 at 10am, Tuesday September 25. Burial will follow at Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery , 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway , Dallas , TX 75211.Immediately following the burial a Celebration of Life will be held at Gary & Kelly Brignon's home in Ennis , TX 75119 . Please come and celebrate Brian's life the way he would all want us to. Attire to the services and celebration will be as Brian would only have it - casual. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
