Brandie Mcmillan

Brandie Leann Stroope-McMillan, 45 years old, a longtime resident of Waxahachie went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Brandie was born on May 4, 1970, in Waxahachie, Texas. Preceded in death by her mother Lois Stroope. Brandie is survived by her beloved daughters, Jessica Gibbs, and Paige Hubert, as well as father Jack Stroope and two brothers Mark and John Stroope, sister-in-law Susan Stroope, nephews Corey, Kody, and Travis Stroope as well as nieces, Nicole, Amanda, and Ashlee Stroope as well as numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins.
Brandie had devotion for life that left all of us who knew her amazed. She traveled as far as she could and never met a stranger. Brandie was known to her children, nieces and nephews to be a formidable opponent when wrestling and they always told her just how much they loved her cooking, even if it was not always edible. In her early years, Brandie was known as Crash to her family due to how many cars she wrecked in her early driving career. That nickname has still been used to this day to describe her driving abilities and Burn will forever miss her and wouldnt dare to look at her in that tone of voice. Brandies favorite flowers were Indian Paintbrushes and tulips. Her smile was infectious and, no matter where you were in the house, you could always tell who was laughing. Brandie was known to love even the least of us and her presence on this earth will be missed. She would have wanted all who grieve her loss to remember that although her time here may be done, she is standing next to her mother in heaven, smiling down on all of us.
