Boyde Donald Hall, 78 of Red Oak, passed away May 8, 2015 in Red Oak. He was born to the late George and Anna Hall on August 12, 1936 in Cumby, Texas. Boyd worked as a heavy equipment mechanic for most of his 45 year career, retiring from DISD after 20 years in 2002. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dogs. He also enjoyed gardening, attending church and reading his bible. Boyde will be greatly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Shafer and son-in-law, Thomas Shafer of Palmer; his son, Daniel Hall of Red Oak and honorary daughter-in-law, Trina Agosta of Dallas; his grandchildren, Cara, Jason, Jeremy, Lara and Jonathan; also 4 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Noah, Jaycie and Josalyn; his sisters, Lorene Martin of Austin and Wynona Patterson of Wylie. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Peggy Hall; his parents, George and Anna Hall; his son, Michael Hall; he was also preceded by his brothers, Alvin, Truman, Ray, Clyde, Bobby and Melvin. Those serving as pallbearers include, Jeremy Hall, Jason Shafer, Ronny Daniell, Donny Morelock, Kevin Smith, David Adams, Kenny Moore and Justin Goetz. Services to celebrate Boyde's life are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at the Faith, Hope and Love Church, Lancaster, Texas with Pastor Richard Daniell officiating. Interment will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 11, 2015 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
