Bonita Alford

Bonita "Bunny" Ruth Reeves Alford was born on January 15, 1948 in Beaumont, Texas to Patsy and Royce B. Reeves.

She grew up and went to school in Hubbard, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Don Alford. They were married on July 24, 1965 in Mexico. They spent the next 55 years working and raising their 2 sons; Jeff and Jason. They lived in Corsicana, Ennis, Pasadena, Spring, Kingwood, Hubbard, Italy and Waxahachie. Bunny was a registered nurse for many years at Baylor Hospital as well as D.O.N. at a nursing home in Hillsboro. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, babying her many animals and decorating her homes. She was always "Nana" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bunny leaves behind her son, Jeff Alford and wife Dana, of Midlothian. Her son Jason and wife Angel of Waxahachie.  Her grandchildren Nicolas Ramirez and Heidi Alford; Justin and Chelsea Harrington; Josie Harrington; Zach Alford and Kelsi McCraw; Aubrey Alford and Charleah Cook; Jacob and Shana Alford. Her Great grandchildren; Jaxson and Waylon Harrington, Iris Cook and Judy Alford. Bunny also leaves behind her sister, Becky Priest of Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bunny was preceded in death by her father Royce B. Reeves, her sister Roycelyn and her mother Patsy.
