Bobby Featherston

Bobby Wayne Featherston was born March 21, 1937 in the community of Roane, Texas to John Abraham "Abe" Featherston and Vergie Bradford Featherston. He was the youngest of 6 children and attended Ennis schools graduating in 1956. Bobby was a career Heliarch welder where he fabricated the commercial kitchens for hundreds of restaurants in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. He contracted with Steak and Ale to create and install their restaurants kitchens all over the United States during the late 1970's and early 80's. He retired from Frito Lay where he was an on staff fabricator for their Dallas plant.

Bobby enjoyed raising doves, loving on his dogs and exploring Traders Village.

Bobby passed away in Waxahachie on June 9, 2018 at the age of 81. He had been a resident of Ellis County living at Red Oak Health and Rehabilitation He was proceeded in death by his wife Jewel, his parents, and his siblings, Ernest Featherston, Lucille Featherston Holloway, John E Featherston, Raymond Featherston and Claude Featherston. He is survived by his son and Bobby Featherston and wife Cindy of Waxahachie, daughter Paige Featherston Gordon of Waxahachie along with grandchildren Trey Featherston and wife Sydney, Tyler Featherston and wife Catherine, Travis Featherston and wife Skylar, Ellen Gordon of and David Gordon, three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews
