Bobby Carroll

Bobby Joe Carroll, 83 of Waxahachie, Texas passed away Saturday May 07, 2016 in Waxahachie, Texas. Bobby was born on March 29, 1933 in Ellis County to the late Raymond & Nora Trull Carroll. After high school, Bobby served in the U.S. Army and later became a barber where he owned and operated Carroll's Barber Shop for over 55 years. He was a member of the Stagecoach Cowboy Church and a longtime member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Bobby loved to train and raise Quarter horses, he was a good neighbor always willing to help someone in need, he will be dearly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his sons: Chris & Missy Carroll of Waxahachie, Texas, Richie & Robin Carroll of Waxahachie, Texas; Steve Carroll of Waxahachie, Texas; 1 Daughter& Son in Law: Wendy & Dallas Ross of Waxahachie, Texas. 1 Brother: Carl Carroll of Aubrey, Texas 9 Grandchildren: Casey, Caitlyn, Brooklin, Landon, Jennifer, Steve, Bobby, Mathew and Curt Ross; 4 Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Riley, Trystin and Caleb. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Saundra Carroll in January 2013.

Services to celebrate his life are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel, Texas with Brother Frank Escamilla officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation with the family is scheduled from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. Pallbearers will be Willd Kujawa, Corey Smith, Paul Gietzen, Robert Gietzen, Jason Escamilla and Clayton Farmer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlie Stricker, Jody Escamilla, Herman Smith and Horace Bratcher.
