Mrs. Lang passed away Wednesday evening at Mesquite Medical Center in Mesquite. She was born in Artesia, NM to Sidney and Georgia ( Kee) Smith. She graduated from Artesia High School in 1968, then attended Bible Baptist Seminary in Arlington. She married Jim Lang December 12, 1969 in Artesia. Mrs. Lang was involved in all churches that her husband ,Jim, pastored including the Bible Baptist Church of Waxahachie. She was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church of Arlington.

She is survived by: her husband, Jim Lang of Dallas; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Holly Lang of Alvarado; daughter, Cari Lang of Dallas; brother and sister-in-law, Johnnie and Joyce Smith of Quitman; sister and brother-in-law, Martha and John Robison of Iowa Park, TX.; two grandchildren, Tiffany and Kayli. Mrs. Lang was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Stephen Lang.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM Saturday, February 28, 2004 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor George Newcomb, Reverend Bob Cheek and Reverend Todd Grimes officiating. Interment will follow in Ranger Cemetery, Ranger, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Heritage Baptist Church Mission Program, 5100 Parliament Dr., Arlington, TX. 76017.
