Bobbie Hinton

September 25, 1919 — January 9, 2014

Bobbie Jean (Mimi) Hinton went to be with Jesus on January 09, 2014. She was 94 years old. Her entire life was devoted to the family she card for so much and our loss is heavens gain. She was born in Delta County, Texas to R.A. and Thelma Tucker. She married Lloyd Lee Hinton in 1934 and they raised four children. They moved to Dallas in 1944 she worked as a housewife and stay at home mom. Bobbie loved to bowl and started bowling in leagues. Her hobbies were ceramics and sewing. She made many good friends and enjoyed her family more than anything. Her skills as a seamstress landed her at L & L Manufacturing in downtown Dallas and later worked for Jerrell Inc. as the best designer-sample maker. She retired from there at age 75. After that she loved garage sales and spent lots of time enjoying family and friends. She was smart, witty and wonderful. She became very ill and was on hospice for the last several months of her life. She was thankful for the nurses and aids that came to see her and she enjoyed making them laugh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hinton, son Larry Hinton and two brothers Doyle and James Tucker and sister Billie Newman. She is survived by daughter Joyce Reed of Dallas, son Danny Hinton and wife Karen of Mansfield, Texas, daughter Debra Aguilar and husband Al of Waxahachie. Her many grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her everyday and two sisters Helen LaRue and Rita Hutchings. We appreciate our friends at Family First Hospice for all the love and care we received.
